The 17th Conference of the International Association for Economic of Participation (IAFEP) took place in Montevideo last July, 2014, hosted by Instituto de Economia, Universidad de la República. According to participants, it was a really successful event. The 2014 Horvat Vanek Prize was shared between Tolulope Akinfemisoye (Leeds University Business School, UK) and Nathalie Magne (Université Lyon 2, France). We are glad to inform you that Prof. John Pencavel and Prof. Louis Putterman have accepted to be part of the IAFEP council for the next two years.
The 16th IAFEP conference was held at Rutgers University in July, 2012. Thanks to Doug Kruse for organizing this conference.
